Summary
Outlook email can be setup on your Apple mobile devices using the Mail application for Apple.
Information needed to setup your phone:
- email address: username@bellevuecollege.edu
- domain\username: username@bellevuecollege.edu
Note: If Domain and Username are separate text boxes, leave the Domain box empty and type your full email address in the Username box.
- Exchange Server: outlook.office365.com
- Check the box for User secure connection
How To:
- If this is the first email account on your iPhone, select Mail
- Otherwise, select Settings, Mail, Contacts, Calendars
- Select Add Account
- Choose Microsoft Exchange
- Type the information requested in the Email, Username or NetID, and Password fields
- Add your full email address in the Email and NetID or Username boxes. Example: first.lastname@bellevuecollege.edu
- Click Next on the upper-right corner of the screen. Your mail program will try to find the settings it needs to set up your account.
- Choose the type of information you want to synchronize between your account and your device, and then touch Save
- By default, Mail, Contacts, and Calendar information are synchronized
- To check your email choose the Email icon on the main screen
Note: If your mail program is unable to find the settings and asks you to input additional information such as Domain and Server name, please press cancel, make sure you are connected to a trusted Wifi network and repeat the process until your device automatically finds the settings to complete your account.
