How to: Call into a Team Meeting

Summary

When you are invited to a meeting using Microsoft Teams, the organizer will send you a meeting invitation with the details on the meeting. They will provide a link for you to join the meeting. If you are unable to connect with the link, you can also call-in to the meeting. If you do not see a phone number to call, you will need to reach out to the meeting organizer for more information.

How to:

  1. Open the meeting details
  2. Scroll until you see the "Join Microsoft Teams Meeting"
  3. Dial the phone number (employees may need to enter their scan code)
    1. If you don't have the meeting details, the number should be: +1 206-899-2345   United States, Seattle (Toll)
  4. You will hear a welcome message
  5. You will be prompted to enter the conference ID and then press pound #
  6. You will be asked if you are the meeting organizer
  7. Note: Those in the meeting will see your phone number, so you will need to
